Bottom Seals & How to Choose the Right One

Seals must match your door’s retainer. Measure the door width, check the retainer type, and select the correct style:

• T-End Seal: Fits T-track retainers; ensures a tight and proper fit.
• P-Bulb Seal: Shaped like the letter P; durable vinyl for uneven floors.
• Bead-End Seal: Easy to install; designed for durability.

How to Replace Your Bottom Seal

1. Lift the garage door and remove the old seal from the retainer.
2. If needed, replace or cut the retainer to match door width.
3. Clean the retainer track thoroughly with soapy water.
4. Lubricate the track lightly with dish soap and feed the new seal in place.
5. Trim excess material and install end caps if applicable.
6. Secure the retainer with self-tapping screws every foot along the track.

Perimeter Seals (Top & Sides)

Perimeter seals block drafts, insects, and light along the top and sides. We have many colors in stock—bring a sample of your existing seal to match it perfectly.

How to Replace Your Perimeter Seal

1. Remove the old perimeter seal carefully from the frame.
2. Clean the door frame to ensure proper adhesion or screw fit.
3. Align the new seal along the top and sides.
4. Secure with screws or clips as required for your seal type.
5. Check the door closes evenly and that all gaps are sealed.
